Fark. The last Iowa polls from the Des Moines Register swung sharply R across the board. That's an A+ pollster. Basically came down to independents breaking for Trump again, and carrying the down ballot races with him.

I know it's only one poll, but not what I want to see 3 days before election day.

Yeah but it's also a 10pt difference from another A+ poll 9 days ago. It's definitely the outlier at the moment.
 
What would make such a swing in the last week? His drooling and slurring at rallies? Covid cases multiplying like crazy?

Today marked the first day I legitimately feared for the country. The gassing of the black voters. The assault on the candidate’s bus.

"Republicans are preferred by all age cohorts except those 65 and older, and also by independent voters and by people who didn’t vote in 2016, the poll found."

This statement really makes no sense. I don't see the under 30 crowd, new voters, or independents supporting the GOP, even in lily white Iowa. I mean, Selzer generally gets things right, but those are just mind boggling if correct.

I want to know how many of you actually believe trump will win an honest election? I'm serious. I think there is no way. I think Biden has enough votes in the right places to win a minimum of 350 EV votes. I think about 35% of the electorate is in the bag for trump and that's it. I think the overwhelming turnout we've seen, in blue states and (many formerly) red is people coming out in droves to say the status quo has been wrong and bad and is not what America is all about.

We are seeing a crisis in this country that rivals the depression, and in 1932 Americans rejected the status quo in 42 of the 48 states. Roosevelt won the popular vote by 20 points. And Herbert Hoover was not a psychologically unfit liar who basically ran a criminal enterprise out of the White House. He was a mediocre president who could not meet the expectations of the time at a time when many well learned and well meaning people believed similarly to what he believed was best to do. He wasn't donald trump. Not by a long shot. Not in any way. But the country, from one end to the other knew a change was needed and voted that way.

The country knows that same thing today. From one end to the other we know it. But the criminal enterprise that has become the republican party knows it too. There is a reason the Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has said the only way Biden can win is through fraud and theft. We talk about it here all the time. Projection. It is always projection with republicans. Always. Patrick KNOWS trump can't win. He said what he said because he believes Biden will win Texas if the votes are counted there. republicans in states all over the country KNOW they can't win of the votes are counted everywhere. I believe it. I think many or most of you do to. I think scared and desperate criminals often do whatever they can to hide, escape or succeed. I think republicans are fearful of being wiped off the electoral map from in half the states where they control things. And that makes them desperate and desperate criminals will sometimes try to shoot their way out of trouble. They believe the have nothing to lose and will thus stop at nothing to win.

If Joe Biden is not the president on January 20, 2021 make no mistake about it, he will have been the victim of the biggest theft anyone has ever been witness to. We all will be. And there is no country anymore. Unless those of us that WANT a United States of America are prepared to do something about it. And this time writing your member of congress ain't gonna be enough. Ugly, isn't it? Well the truth is often ugly.

We had a decent, if uneven run, this country of ours. I hope I wake up in a few days with a country left to call home. I can tell you one thing, most of you conservatives and republicans out there are not going to like living in trump's "America" any more than I will. You'll see, trust me.

Ok, looking at the congressional breakdown, there's no way Finkenauer is down 15 points in IA-1 and farther behind than Scholten is in IA-4 (King's district). That also says bad sample.

Unlikely. It’s an outlier. Even the best have them. No different than the A+ Biden +17 in Wisconsin. Both outfits would tell you the same thing. Look at the averages.

These losers are committing acts of violence all over the country. In some cases the cops are standing by and allowing them to. This is not a repeat of 1963. I mean, it is, and it's the same as-sholes, but this time around they are Republicans because we excreted them in the ensuing fifty years.

Shedding the Dixiecrat fascists cost us elections throughout the 80s, 90s, and 00s, but it is finally paying off now. They are 100% the GOP's problem, now. We sacrificed power for decades in order to get rid of the Nazis in our midst, all leading to this moment. +6 on Day 1.
 
538 has PA dropping below the 5% barrier. But as far as a I can tell, it's because of something called AtlasIntel (rated B/C) which has Trump +1, meanwhile every other poll from the past week has Biden +5-8.
