I'm praying I'm wrong, but Tuesday is going to be the most chaotic day anyone alive has seen in our country. I think it might rival days of the civil war when it comes to violence directed at Americans by traitorous rebels.
 
The Republican Texas Supreme Court upheld allowing the votes and even that isnt good enough. This is getting out of control...

They followed the rules and there wont be time for them all to vote if their votes are thrown out on Monday. Anyone who even pretends this is legit has no real belief in everything this country is supposed to stand for.

edit: This again shows they are friggin scared. If they are trying to get votes thrown out in TX that means the rumors of it being closer than normal are probably true.

There will be blood. They will try the courts, if they succeed, then it’s to the streets to let them know that the fascist takeover will be met head on. Many will have to choose: accept the theft of an election and cower or reject forcefully. If this isn’t stopped today, there will be no tomorrow unless you are wearing an orange arm band. You will be kneeling to trumps for many years.....
 
And look at the cops in Texas allowing trump trucks to attempt to run Biden’s bus off the highway and hit staffer cars.

the cops are the bad Germans, not even the good ones like a few posters around here

Makes sense the Texas Supreme Court would allow the ballots...throwing them out creates chaos in their state and it is beyond the point of correction now. Pragmatically speaking they gain more letting it go than they do if they threw them out because you risk riots in many of the population centers.

If this makes it all the way to the SC this case could literally be the match that lights the powder keg. Harris County needs them counted no matter what the Fed Court says because they need to be prepared for what will come after Monday. They need the total for when they go to the Supreme Court. If the Supreme Court throws them out and all these lawsuits lead to flip in overall results I dont see any way the US ultimately survives it. Gore v. Bush was bad enough...this is a whole new level of that and I dont see the majority bending to the will of the minority for the good of the country anymore. This would destroy the integrity of the election to a level it would never be able to recover from.

I mean think about this...Texas has a Republican Governor and a Republican Supreme Court both of whom have done nothing to interfere witht he curbside voting...and the GOP is still telling them to pound sand. This isnt Minnesota where the Leg and the Executive are two different parties...the GOP owns Texas. The GOP is now so Anti-States Rights they are fighting states they control because the states wont break all the rules just some of them. This is going beyond death cult status...

Mark Elias has been crushing at these cases and Kennerly is right Elias' clients have standing whereas the GOP does not. The equal protection argument is creative but it isnt Harris County's fault other counties in Texas didn't have drive through voting. It would appear nothing prevented them from having it. Plus they are arguing that only people that were physically unable to vote in person (sick or disabled) could curbside vote. Well how is the judge supposed to know whether every person who voted curbside was or not? So you just invalidate all of them? Maybe if this was a month ago but the day before the Election that would be stealing votes.

The votes were cast correctly and in good faith of the law as it was at the time. That should be the standard. If you invalidate the votes you invalidate the results.

Problem is 3 of the SC justices that would decide this would be Roberts, ACB and McRapey all of whom have zero issue with that since they argued for it in 2000 as lawyers.
 
While I know Elias is paid very handsomely, the guy should never have to buy a drink again. Ever. This country can never repay him.

They sure seem concerned with Texas, because they just asked for 117,000 votes to be nullified. Because they were cast in drive-thru voting.

Because why should voting be made convenient for anyone?

The man is everywhere and is winning at a higher percentage than he probably should considering what is stacked against him.
 
Fark. The last Iowa polls from the Des Moines Register swung sharply R across the board. That's an A+ pollster. Basically came down to independents breaking for Trump again, and carrying the down ballot races with him.

I know it's only one poll, but not what I want to see 3 days before election day.
