Student season tickets sold out (they offered 477 of them) quickly this morning. I'm told that there were folks camping out. That leaves a scant 123 individual game tickets (assuming that the 600 student tickets is accurate) for each game, and those will go on sale the Monday of each series...

As an aside, I just checked the academic calendar, and BSU is home for Thanksgiving weekend (NMU), and the Minnesota series is the weekend heading into spring break.

Lakeland News just announced that every home game will air live and in HD on Lakeland PTV, not on Lakeland Plus, as previously planned. I'm sure you can watch their newscast sometime in the morning, but don't expect much, it was a quick ~ 30 second blurb.

This is great news for BSU Hockey as it now gets them on DirecTV as well as Dish Network in the Minneapolis market. Also, they are going to be on the Minnesota PBS station, which gets them into more PBS markets in Minnesota. The Up North Sports Blog recapped all of this here:

Hey guys, best of luck in your inaugural season in the WCHA. What a huge step for your program. will definitely be keeping an eye out west to see how you guys fare on an annual basis.

Moose, I noticed in the BTHC thread that you posted a link to the new site for "College Hockey Tonight (Formerly The Hockey Show)"

Will we be able to find the mp3/podcasts for the new show at that site or the old site? If it will be at the new site, is it safe for me to stop following the old blog? Thanks for the great job you and Scott do on the show. Looking forward to an exciting season in WCHA Hockey. Go Beavers!!

With the numbers Sirianni has put up last year and so far in just 2 games, do you think he will ever make a return to the US?

Just something I've thought about.
