Tech wins 2-1. We gave up our 5th goal this year when our opponent was short-handed. We turned it over mid ice and paid for it. Couldn't catch up. Tech has a nice team; great goal tending, good speed down the ice on the break, pass well, and space well. We need some points tomorrow!

Caught the game tonight. Tight game. One note: BSU....I know the intentions are good, but never wear those unis again. They looked like a super-pixelated Minecraft screenshot. Horrible.

So happy TPT broadcasts the games here in the Cities. It truly is great.

At least we didn't get shut out at home. :D

IMHO the BSU announcers call a pretty even game. They are homers in their unique way but they call the game as they see it. Unlike announcers from some programs "cough" evil empire "cough". ;)

I like how the BSU guys talked up Houghton as a tough place to play; they also described the UP as "a two lane highway. And trees. Lots of trees." :D

Our radio guys were not happy with MN's play tonight. They said without saying that tUMD kicked our booty. So there! :p Wait.....

Tough break for the Beavers this weekend, played the better game both nights. They are going to win a bunch of games this year. Good luck the rest of the way.

It's totally understandable for gfmorris to go on a beaver thread to gloat when UAH has sucked for so long.

Lost 3-2 to a good BG team. But still.... Gave up another short-handed goal tonight. We gotta get that solved! SCSU next weekend. Regroup! GO BEAVERS!

I'll second that, and go one further. We (BG) didn't deserve to win, but we did...and I'll take it.
Bemidji is a SOLID team with some serious talent. They were the better team Saturday night, just never got a break and failed to finish several great scoring chances.

Can we just decline power plays? The Beavers are only 6 of 57 on the power play while giving up six short handed goals. It is a wash, let's play 5 on 5!
