Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham
Ignore him. If it isn't something talking about how Union is awesome, he will slam you for it. Example: he said that Minnesota was a bigger under-performing and choking team than RPI.
And apparently, you looking at basic statistics now makes you poindexter. If anything, just take that as a complement.
$20 says he hasn't watched more than maybe one BC game this season.
You do realize that this information takes like 15 seconds to look up and actually get real information rather than make things up?
Per collegehockeyinc.com, which allows you to filter stats by date:
Since the Holy Cross game after which the top line was united, BC has scored 81 goals, of which 40 have been scored by Hayes (16), Gaudreau (15) or Arnold (9). That's 49.4%.
For the season at large - including before Gaudreau, Arnold and Hayes were united on the same line - those three have combined for 61 of BC's 136 goals, 44.8%.
So amazingly once again everyone who actually knows what they're talking about is right, what a shock. BC's scoring from lower lines is pretty comparable with scoring from other top teams, it's just the first line that's disproportionately good.
