no question about it..............and i lost track, did Summerhays dislodge the net 6 times to zero for Billet? It really got out of hand

oh jeff, welcome to hockey east and its lovely officials. more evidence that we really do have the worst guys. perhaps this was a veiled shot at the refs by him.

That was a nice win for BC. Really fun game to watch, too. Glad I watched it indoors on TV, though.

Seemed like 26 times. Every time BC was pressuring in the ND zone the net came dislodged. At first, it seemed like the ice and the cold temp was the cause, but it wasn't happening with Billet. I actually watched the kid for a while... yup, he's from the BU school of goaltending. They better start slapping this kid with some delay of game penalties. Put a camera on him for an entire game at Conte. This is NO ACCIDENT. Gonna shoot myself if I have to watch this crap again.

That goalie knocking the net of 35x was absurd, them not giving him 1 delay of game penalty was worse

The mopes over at Ndnation are starting to think joining our league was a bad idea and that they will get shafted by the officials every night as the outsiders. I'm sure their tough sledding this season has nothing to do with not playing in a crappy CCHA anymore! Well, we can assure them we don't like them in our league either. Their helmets are so gd awful Bertagna should ban them.

Yea... ND should head back west where they play real hockey.
Everyone knows there's no good hockey in the east. Colgate was lucky as hell this weekend too. :D

Didn't BU used to get away with that all the time ? He must have learned that from JP )

I'm happy with the win and since there's only 20 HE games this year, this can be the clincher month where they have 5 more HE games, 2 against PC.

I want to start seeing a commitment to stop-the-opposition style defense heading into the 2nd half and post season. Good teams will not allow them to score 4 goals or more.

I still see problems and breakdowns on defense that have led to big time losses to Minnesota, Holy Cross, Maine, and Michigan. The stupid penalties have to stop even if you think they don't deserve it. That 5 minute major will be costly in the post season when they play all good teams. Defensive breakdowns minimized. Now is the time to start the road to the frozen four by playing great team defensive and goaltending.

A real home game and a biggie on Friday. I'm looking for a packed house with lots of our Friar brethren to be there . I think it may be a little different than the past game PC played here at least we'll have a full roster this time

Agreed, really looking to a nice weekend of hockey. Been too long since we've been at Conte.

Gerat opportunity to create some separation at the top. Also crazy enough in a week or two some teams might be already eliminated from the HE RS title with 6+ weeks to play :eek:

Also JFC what the hell did Doherty do to not earn PT? This is absurd.

as the WJC comes to a close, thought about something for next year. even though hanifin won't be at BC, given what you read about him and the enormous talent, is there a possibility he makes the team next year a la Eichel?

i'm still not convinced the plan isn't to have hanifin on campus next fall.
