Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

the only thing that came out of that s**t show was Demko earning the job and 2 points. Other than that, nyet. I said on EA before his second goal that I didnt think KH was playing well then he scores another . I don't think I was drinking too much:D because even with the goals, he wasn't his dominating self. Puck taken from him multiple times and not his man among boys gig in the corners. I guess I've become spoiled when it comes to his play. One meh game from him is forgiven however(and he scored twice!). We better play a whole lot better on Friday night....... Demko was superb:D

Better to get it out of their system than in a big game in the post season. Sometimes with a team like this, not being ranked with a losing record, you tend to play down to the opposition.

There's not many home games left and sadly, have to go to more road games this year than in the past to see them play. Well hopefully the coaches have in mind who they want to play and where when the post season begins. Demko and Linell appear to be where they belong.

Just bought Hockey East Tournament Tickets for March. I would like to go to Worcester since it is the closest but Bridgeport is doable for me too. Hopefully they make the FF too in Philly.

keep in mind that Minnesota recently played in Happy Valley and Penn State was pretty competitive in those games as well.

anyone else think it's lame that this new north star cup is decided by a 5 minute OT/shootout if regulation ends in a tie? let's hope the beanpot never goes down that road. these types of tournaments should be decided with 20 minute sudden death periods.

Nothing much good to say about NESN, which isn't showing BC-Providence (or any college hockey) this Friday. Instead, you will see Charlie Moore Outdoors with penultimate game-show host Chuck Woolery.

Yes, I realize that 72 hours later NESN will show the Beanpot, but still...

My good fortune to be in downtown San Francisco for THAT, as I am each first Monday of February. Happily, Lefty O'Douls on Geary Street is always happy to flip to NESN for me on one of their TVs.

Worth a shot but I assume no one has extras for Friday right? Looking for 2

Called BC last week and they were sold out

Be careful about putting down the North Star Cup, you might get all the ****y Minnesota fans over here.

But yes, shootouts are a lame way to decide a trophy that is supposed to be important.

That said, that was some awesome hockey to watch. It's clear that in year one the teams participating in the tournament already really care about it right away, which is great. All of the games were enjoyable and competitive, too.
