Basketball 2017

Re: Basketball 2017

Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge suffered a mild heart attack in Milwaukee on Tuesday night, the team announced.

According to a release from the team, Ainge received immediate medical attention, is expected to make a full recovery and will return to Boston shortly.

Ainge was in Milwaukee to watch the Celtics' Game 2 loss to the Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Ainge, 60, also suffered what was described as minor heart attack in 2009.

Ainge was a member of two championship Celtics teams in the 1980s. He became the team's president of basketball operations in 2003.

Re: Basketball 2017

Gentleman's sweep for the Bucks! I saw a graphic were the last 4 teams to win game 1 by ~15+ points on the road had all lost their series...Celtics keep the streak alive.

Re: Basketball 2017

Or James Harden sees Durant hurt and scores one layup in the 4th quarter as the Warriors hold on.

Re: Basketball 2017

Durant hurt, not playing game 6. Warriors trot out Andrew Bogut. Curry goes 0-first half. Rockets still lose.

Really looking forward to that Dubs-Bucks final now.

Story in today's WaPoo on the practice of hoop stars red shirting in middle school to be older and aid in pursuit of the almighty D1 scholarship.

It's the latest in the private school arms race here.

And I thought they only did that for Texas football.
