TY Shock. I really like where AIC is right now. I wish they had a lot more wins. I was also not able to make either Army game, but looking at the box score, they gave up the goals in quick spurts. If they can fix that, all is good. Hopefully they will play Bentley. I feel they have a good shot at beating Bentley. But they have to play as good of a defensive game as they played in Waltham last time around. They were up by 1 and withstood a Bentley barrage and then came back down the ice and scored a goal which broke Bentley. Then they continued the stifling defense.(yes, it was stifling)
Kerpan is playing very respectable in net right now, something I honestly didn't think would ever happen. It will be interesting to see if Meisner is healthy enough to get back in net.

Good game last night, but Torf has only been averaging one good outing per weekend, so Air Force will have to just outscore RMU tonight. Still, I like our chances. Nice to have the tiebreaker over Holy Cross, too, for the quarters, thanks to Jacques' last-second goal in December.

Surprised at how flat RIT was last night, but they don't have anything to play for. Good to have an AHA game on national TV. Laughed at the RIT kids giving Murphy the "Loser" sign after Niagara's 4th goal! You guys start them young!

Sacred Heart's win over Army keeps them alive for the West #5/#11 overall seed. That result also locks Army into the #9 overall slot. Bentley is already locked into #10. Mercyhurst has tiebreakers over both, so they can finish no lower than 8th overall.

First round matchups set:
East Pod: AIC at Army, Sacred Heart at Bentley
West Pod: Mercyhurst at Robert Morris, Canisius at Niagara

For the Quarters:
RIT gets lowest seed remaining (one of AIC, SH, or Bentley)
AF gets 2nd lowest seed remaining (one of Army, SH or Bentley)
Holy Cross gets 3rd lowest seed remaining (Canisius, Mercyhurst or UConn).
UConn will be on the road if either Niagara or Robert Morris win.

If the higher seeds all win, quarters would be:
10) Bentley at 1) RIT
9) Army at 2) Air Force
6) UConn at 3) Holy Cross
5) Robert Morris at 4) Niagara
All very intriguing matchups!
