Atlantic Hockey Pick'em 2010-2011

How much did they charge for the UConn outdoor game? I'm actually hoping they move the AIC/Army game because AIC is not selling tickets, and the Whaler website is annoying. they don't even list the price of the Trinity game to get an idea. THEN, they want $15 for parking.
59 degrees on Friday and 44 on Saturday, with the sun. If they moved the Pittsburgh game in Jan to the evening, then maybe they'll move this game somewhere else.
I give creds to Sacred Heart for selling tickets to their game and their Bridgeport games for $10 each.

The UCONN-SHU game at Rentschler Field was $10. There was no charge for parking for any of the games except the Whale-Providence game next weekend. I went and it was really a pretty nice event. Both schools had their bands there and the crowd was really into it I thought. Game was well played with losts of hitting. Seemed like the refs even got into it since they swallowed their whistles a few times. I will say that it was cold, though. Especially in the 3rd period when the wind picked up and unlike the old UCONN rink there was no warming hut to cram into between periods.

RST, it probably was a UCONN home record crowd. Being there I had a sense that there were more than 2000, but I don't know for sure. Hard to tell exactly in such a large facility. I know that the various high school/prep school teams that play were selling passes that were good for all the games save the AHL/Whalers Alumni game, and it seemed as if they got in just flashing the badge, not being scanned, but I'm not sure. In any case, I was expecting to see a figure more like 25-2700. Sure seemed like it. Bottom line though was that it was a fun event. Maybe its my age, but I'm sort of happy the Huskies play indoors now, though.

AIC is actually selling passes through four fronts. One to the students, one to the hockey alumni, one to the general sports alumni, and one to the overall alumni.

The passes sold that day are good for the whole day, as well as the parking (well I won't have to pay for parking and tix). From what I have been hearing, there will be at least two buses going down from AIC other than the hockey team.

I read on the Trinity website that they were selling $15 passes good for the entire week+, and the big game in two sections only, like 221ish...
When I emailed AIC, they said they were not selling tickets.
I may call up the Whale and see if they are selling tickets for the AIC/Army game only, otherwise I'm back to Williams College to suffer the lack of parking while their basketball game is packed, and their hockey is 1/4 full.

I hope AIC continues to play the defense that they played @ Bentley. The agressive play has been a long time coming! IF they continue that defense, they're gonna be scary in the playoffs.

I woulda dressed for skiing in very cold weather but it was still gonna be like sitting on a broken down chairlift for 2.5 hours. Yup, I am happy about the indoor rink. Just wish it had a fireplace in the lobby though:):)

If you can get a reasonably priced ticket, I thought it was definitely worth going. It is kind of neat watching the game surrounded by snow piles. Supposed to be warmer on this weekend than last, too. The seating for UCONN was General Admission for everyone. I assume it wold be that in the afternoon.
