Annoying Commercials 2: Searching for the MUTE button

Re: Annoying Commercials 2: Searching for the MUTE button

This isn't a commercial, it's a promotional spot on The Military Channel about some upcomming program in which the announcer intones: From aerial bombers that can drop bombs from nearly ten miles up. . ." Uh, aren't all bombers aerial?

They also endlessly repeat promos about their series "An Officer and a Movie," starring "veteran" actor Lou Diamond Phillips. In the context of the program, the word "veteran" is either deceptive or irrrelevant. Lassie is a veteran actor, too. But if he (correct) were hosting the series, I doubt they'd refer to him as a "veteran" actor.

I saw one last night that was so stupid I left too shocked to even catch who was actually advertising. It was just a bunch of stupid people talking about their cats, and saying that they're cat people.

The Lowe's commercial that has aired on 1000+ times on CBS during the NCAA basketball tournament. The guy looks like a 12 year old boy sleeping then all of a sudden he is carried by the smell of spring and doing lawn work in an oxford shirt and khakis. ****es me off every time

How 'bout the idiot who says: "I'm not having a heart attack, I've got a headache," when the flight attendant offers him some aspirin? He deserves to be having a heart attack.

Re: Annoying Commercials 2: Searching for the MUTE button

I hate anything about a store or restaurant that is at least 2 hours away. This means 90% of commercials.

This is a local one but,

At the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. In the warm California Sun. BOARDWALK!

It's just worn me down. It's everywhere and has been for years.

Is it me or is Eddie Money performing there every weekend?

Next time I hear that stupid discover commercial about pizza parlors, froyo, and taco truck getting me five percent cash back I think my remote is going through my tv.

Speaking of which, those Capital One commercials with Jimmy Fallon vs. the baby are also awful.

The Verizon Wireless one with the two women (mother/daughter?) bawling that they'll miss each other. I set a new record for hitting the mute button every time it comes on.
