OK, some of those movies so didn't belong in that montage.

Zac Efron and Anna Kendrick out to present the Sound Awards, yet have Morgan Freeman narrate the piece talking about it. Just have Morgan Freeman on stage to do this, why have those two there???

And PS - it's not the Academy, it's the show's producers.

The Hurt Locker wins for Sound Editing, and the guy is very creepy looking!

Hurt Locker wins both sound awards over Avatar. Interesting. That bodes well for the Best Picture race.

Did everyone get the Hershey's commercial about the Milton Hershey school? Just saw this posted on another board:

Okay, that Hershey's ad about the Milton Hershey School for orphans? Guess who attended that school from 7 years of age until graduating?

Joe Stack, the guy who flew his plane into the IRS office in Austin a few weeks ago. Kinda dampens my mood.

Sandra Bullock out to present Best Cinematographer. Her dress is gorgeous. It looks good on TV.

Not suprisingly, or because I am Opposite Girl and just posted that it boded well for Hurt Locker over Avatar, Avatar wins!

And they steal a page from the Emmys by having someone there live to sing over the slide show.

You can't mock Warren he is like 700 years old and still nails Annette Benning! ;)

edit: Apparently the rumors are it could be one of many different people including Mick Jagger...that is a weird combo ;)

Soooooo, they do this useless number to present the nominees for Best Score but we get no musical performances for Best Song? That's pretty lame.

ETA: Yeah, this music just screams poppin' and lockin', doesn't it?

Oh, and the score from Up won the Oscar in that category. The guy that won also does the music for Lost.

Jason Bateman to present Up In The Air as another one of the Best Picture nominees.
