If you have a minute or two to spare go to
nhl.com and take a look at video of the spot on the ice from which Stastny scored both his goals last night. It's precisely the same spot---he's standing about ten feet outside the crease directly to Ilya Bryzgalov's left. Stastny takes the same same shot both times and beats the goalie. The Wild would do well to have a forward stay close to Stastny when the Avs have the puck in their attacking zone. Yes, Stastny's first goal was a 6 on 5 and the Wild could not account for all the Avs on the ice. However, the game winner was a 5 on 5 situation and Stastny scored from his--presumably--preferred spot on the ice. I expect the Wild to make a defensive adjustment regarding Stastny's preference for occupying that space.
