Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

Regarding Denver not on the future Frozen Four list........I was wondering the same; or I atleast expected maybe a regional to be hosted somewhere in Colorado - especially with the NCHC headquartered here. Even more perplexing is that they're going back to Tampa so quickly. Got to be a political thing. Somebody in Colorado made somebody mad. Or, someone in Florida took someone deep sea fishing and gave them a condo on Clearwater Beach for that week. I thought FOR SURE that the NCHC brass would position themselves with a marquee weekend right out of the gate.
Air travel to Denver in April vs. to Tampa ...... pretty comparable I think. NCHC blew it.

And here's Jay in the rafters at RPI
http://ow.ly/i/41kCc

I have thought since the time when I was a student that the view from the catwalk where the broadcasters are must give an unusual perspective. OTOH the last couple of years the RPI announcers have noted that the scoreboard partially obstructs the view. Assuredly I would get acrophobia up there. :) His other picture shows the table http://ow.ly/i/41kB1.

Hi guys! I'm a Brown fan and I'm looking forward to our meeting next month. Does anyone know if the game will be televised? I have DirecTV, so I should get the channel no matter what (providing it is being televised, of course).

Thanks!

I thought nothing would be worse than the ladder to get up into the press box at the Broadmoor World Arena. A press box famous for having insufficient clearance for standing up. At critical junctures you were in danger of skulling yourself if you jumped out of your seat. But I was wrong. No way, no chance, no how am I working from a diving platform. New arenas actually take the needs of broadcasters into consideration. Old arenas, not so much. Although Madison Square Garden (which I think qualifies as "new") was designed in such a way that the view from one of the principal camera placements can be (therefore always is) blocked by idiot fans.

Did he have any comments during the broadcast?

Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

2-1-1 headed to Amherst for a Tuesday game.

We will be without Q and Butcher who should be playing in Minnesota that night. We will get to see former DU commit Ray Pigozzi who plays for UMass and is 3-8-11.
A selection from UMass Coach John Micheletto's letter to Santa:
"So how about we finish stronger in the second half, by hook or by crook, and we get some more recruits for next year like Ray Pigozzi and Steven Iacobellis?"
