Jason Zucker, Nick Shore and Scott Mayfield will all be at the U-20 tryout camp in Lake Placid that starts tomorrow. Nick is on Team Blue and Jason and Scott are on Team White.

DU assistant coach, Derek LaLonde, named head coach of Green Bay Gamblers in USHL. Mike Chambers reporting it in Denver Post.

Jason Zucker and Nick Shore with power play goals in the Team White vs Team Blue scrimmage. Scott Mayfield with 2 penalties.

Zucker not playing in today's Blue-White scrimmage.
No points for Nick Shore and another penalty for Mayfield.

Dmann is jonesing! Ever the optimist, I think this year's team will be better than last year's. And that Adam Murray will be a huge surprise. Maybe not Chevy good. But good enough. Have no earthly idea about the flying Finn.

Congrats to both of them for making the cut. I think there is a good chance both could make the final roster in December after that camp. Zucker should be a lock and likely captain of the team as he is the only position player on the team playing for the 3rd year in a row. Once this camp is over, players like Mayfield will still be followed by the USA scouts. If he he has good start to the the regualr season he could get an invite to the December camp.
