Amazing effort by 12 tonight. The guy was a complete animal! We were there for the complete warm-up session and I said to my daughter that you could tell Loney was completely ready to play. That first goal was a blue collar beauty!

Let me tell you, this series/weekend ends tomorrow at about 10pm mst. Denver's got this. To the FF and beyond!! There's 2 major hockey games in the metro Denver area tomorrow (Saturday) night at DU and the Pepsi Center. Fighting for your entertainment dollar. Really. Who here thinks the NHL Avalanche have better chance of winning a Stanley Cup than the Univ of Denver does of winning an National Championship???? I thought so. See you Saturday night in Magness Arena. #thisisit

In Mike C's article in the post about last night's game, he ends it by saying that Monty was planning on going with Cowley tonight. I'm thinking he may change his mind. Tanner looked solid last night.

I can't stop watching the replay of Ty's first goal last night. The two moves are amazing but it all started with the steal from mid air! Just an amazing individual effort. Carrying the team on his back and super humble about it post game. Our first W of the season when down after two periods.

You got that right. Great game Saturday night. Next up, either St. Cloud or Miami. This team is really starting to peak at he right time. I was sure the UMD series would go three games. Happily, I was wrong. I think DU is going to make some noise this year in the NCAAs. I love Monty's style of play, and the team has bought into it completely. Great hockey to watch. I'm excited!

Good solid effort last night. You could really see the toll that running 2.5-3 lines took on the Dogs. They now get a chance to rest and regroup. Great to see the fourth line go crazy celebrating the third goal. Beautiful execution by Larkin. I thought Leggs looked a little better last night.

Is defenseman Sean Mostrom still a Denver commit, and if so, is he expected to be on campus in time for the 2015-2016 season?
