Ok, here goes. I have been watching and cheering for the Pios since 1978. I have been witness to many amazing teams. These past two weekends I have been able to watch the games vs St Cloud and Omaha. In my opinion this is the best DU team I have ever seen! I am so excited for the playoffs!! Now I want encourage all posters to come out of hiding and get fired up for a National Championship!! Viz can't do it alone!! Come on everyone, let's help the team win it all !! Go DU!!!!!

I'm with you. This team is better than the 2004-05 team. Monty has done an amazing job of putting this team together.

Great comeback from injury for Romig. He's really turned up the volume this last month. Cowley has been in both Pio shutouts this year--both vs Omaha--last night and 9 minutes in January. WTG

I like it! That goal last Sat against St Cloud featured two toe drags and a goal!! Amazing!!

DU vs CC series opener on Friday, March 10 is set for 7:37 p.m. MT with the game televised regionally on Altitude 2. Saturday’s contest and Sunday’s if-necessary decisive game are both at 7:07 p.m. MT, though neither will be on television. All games on NCHC.tv

Having NCHC.tv is a great improvement from previous pay offerings. Get to WATCH the Pios not just listen. But as strange as it may seem I miss hearing Jay Stickney's voice. Between CBSSports, Altitude and I think Root, Jay was overruled by tv coverage. (Didn't Altitude even add some games since DU has been #1?)
So this Saturday I'm anticipating an earful of Jayisms as Pios down tiggies in 2.

I wouldn't mind hearing Jay for 2 games, but I don't want cc to win even 1 game!
After all, cc sucks!

Anyone remember what happened last time the "Tiggies" came to town for playoffs? Isn't that when they renamed Magnus World Arena North?

CC used to be good at hockey too, so there's that ;)

That said, I wouldn't be surprised to be going to a game on Sunday night.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned about this series. CC always plays us tough and they would like nothing better than to slow our momentum. I know we will still got to the National Tournement no matter what, but I want it all!!!
