Danton Heinen called up to Boston and scored first two(2) goals Thursday night. Monty and staff brought him luck.

Re: ALL THINGS DENVER--XL--This one's for Old Pio

First Friday Victory 4-3

First Star: Troy Terry (Denver) GWG 16 seconds left
Second Star: Dante Fabbro (Boston University)
Third Star: Colin Staub (Denver) 2 PP goals--Stickney's high energy player of the game

BTW Fabbro and Jost were teammates in Juniors.

Re: ALL THINGS DENVER--XL--This one's for Old Pio

Super hockey game by 2 elite teams. Entertaining, exciting, competitive, compelling all the way to the end.
DU came our fast and BU matched them and DU got the edge at the end of the 1st.
I thought BU dominated the 3rd and it paid off with game tying goal. Can't believe Pios would be out of gas coming down from altitude. Did the team go to the Bruins game and celebrate Heinen's first NHL goals?
Really looking like regulation would end in a tie.
Did not want another Friday tie game.
Time outs and ice cleaning seemed to give the Pios a chance to gather themselves for the final push, and Terry made it happen. What a relief and return to normal breathing pattern.`;)
