I don't see that streak continuing, although I believe in 2008 DU was a #2 seed (North Dakota was 1 seed in that regional). As I know all of you know, Denver is loaded.

Ahh yes, you're correct about 2008. I was looking at Wisco being .500 and assumed they were the 4.

5-2 over the Techsters. Pios looked like they backed off in the 2nd period. Think its hard to get the focus back when you ease off.

Just read Chambers' piece. ICYMI
Borgstrom centered the new “all-freshmen” line with wingers McLellan and Liam Finlay and assisted on McLellan’s goal. Gambrell centered Terry and Jarid Lukosevicius for the “all-sophomore” line.

#2 offense in the country vs # 1 D tomorrow for a trip to the FF. Should be a battle. Hopefully we can trip up Cinderella.

I felt pretty good about the Pios chances against Union, but after seeing how Penn State destroyed them, I'm less confident. Hopefully, PS has had their moment, and the Pios will play at their best on Sunday.

DU looked very good against Penn state. They made adjustments in period that changed the style of play. The boys never stopped skating and digging in the corners which made them effective at both ends of the rink. Looking forward to the frozen 4. One game at a time, ND we are coming for you.

Nice season so far, you guys. We Sioux fans have some conflicts in who to pull for in the final, with DU breathing down our banner necks, but the Pios play the game the right way, have a class coach and are, after all, an NCHC rep. So good luck in Chi.

It's OK if you embarrass ND. :D

I was trying to get the guy next to me to through his DU hat on the ice, but he wouldn't budge!

In the AHL, Quentin Shore is now with the Ontario Reign and will oppose the Bakersfield Condors tonight.
Guess what---Condors forward Joey LaLeggia has three goals and three assists in his last five games.

Well deserved all around. I'm not sure if Butcher will win the Hobey, but he would certainly be a deserving winner. Best player from the best conference...would make sense that he gets the award for best player in the country.

Denver has been the best team I have seen all season long, and it may just be a matter of about EIGHT days until they earn another banner in the rafters. ;)

Mom and Dad shore were in attendance--seen on LA tv
LA tv covered the Shore brothers throughout the game
Nick got an assist, Drew had higher % of FO won
Each had 2 hits
Drew had 1 block, Nick had 1 takeaway

NCHC Reunion
DU--Nick and Drew Shore
CC Bachman-backup goalie
WMU--Molino
St Cloud State--Brodzinsky (Dowd and Gravel in the wings)
UNO--Megna in the wings
UND--Stecher, Boeser, Forbot, LaDue

BTW LA won 2-0
