For anyone wondering, the recruiting sites had Starzynski and Champagne as coming to Fairbanks (in some spots) when they're really coming to Huntsville. I know that some of you follow these things.

Interesting that we are taking a roadie to Western Michigan. We do enough traveling as it is that a non-con haul to the eastern time zone on top of everything else seems like an ouch. I wonder if it is part of a scheduling agreement, e.g. Western playing at the Brice last year in return for us going to Kzoo.

Assuming the October 10th and 11th games are the Kendall tourney games so just in case no one knows, they are played in Anchorage.

Also, interesting that there doesn't seem to be the super long road trip like there has been in the past during the Christmas break. Is this going to be common now to not have the long road trip or likely just a one time change? In recent past years they've been able to do well after the long break/trip.

Can't wait to see Penn State, they put up a really good fight at the end of their season so it will be interesting to see how much they improved in the off season. It will also be nice for Guy to see the new locker room too and know he's still appreciated and remembered with the memory wall.

Cody Kunyk played his first game with Tampa Bay against Washington, from the write-up in Tampa Bay he did okay, I hope he gets ice time in the playoffs.

This is blowing up on twitter, but Justin Woods will miss next season after being diagnosed with cancer. Best of luck to him for a solid recovery.

Oh my, that is so sad. Hopefully it was caught early and he has a good prognosis. Prayers for Justin and his family.

Best wishes for Justin from Ohio. Sounds as if they caught it early and the prognosis is good.
wow, another case of Ewing's Sarcoma--same as PC's Drew Brown.

Best wishes to Justin Woods from Friartown. Unfortunately the PC hockey team is going through the same exact form of cancer with Drew Brown. Hopefully a full recovery for both. I hope we'll see them beat this horrible disease and one day get back on the ice to play the game they love. Horrible to see young men like this have to go through this in the prime of their life.
