Alaska Nanooks 2013-14 Season Thread - On the Road to Perdition...

Re: Alaska Nanooks 2013-14 Season Thread - On the Road to Perdition...

For the record, Dallas was higher on Forrest's list than Doc was. Doc won over the others who don't know anything about hockey with his "charm"...
Lucky for you He "charmed" one too many .....
UAFhf314 ......you didn't show to the training table Friday Pregame which puts you on double secret probation. mmf was there, me and a few others we missed you.

Nooks over Seawolves 3-2 in OT. That wasn’t exactly our best effort but a very important playoff win. Tonight’s OT win will hopefully give the boys some confidence and allow them to play a little looser and return to more aggressive play tomorrow night. We need to get back to what we do best. Without T. Morley somebody needs to be the spark.

Would love to see Beck hit his 100th career point tomorrow night with the winning goal in his last game at the Carlson. That would be special.

Go Nooks!

Well, half of that happened. No matter the outcome tonight, I wish all the best for our seniors and whatever comes next in their careers. Hopefully they are still playing college hockey a week from now.

You can take your Governor's Cup and shove it! Wait, where's my manners? Respectfully of course.

Go **** yourself. Respectfully, of course.

Someone is a bit touchy this evening. This was a great weekend of hockey, you guys played well, but not well enough. Hmm playing next week of the Governor's Cup....I choose next week :p

To the nanook faithful, in all seriousness what are the chances you've seen paralyko in a uaf uniform for the last time?

Just showing some passion, five straight Governor's Cup losses (again), playing in their barn (again), having their fan base act like they and their team is superior, their bad attendance this weekend in a "hockey" town and the fact that everybody in Fairbanks loves their Nanooks, etc. It's all coming out.

You guys played very well, that third period could have gone anybodies way. It could've been/still in OT, that goal right after the start of the third period was especially disheartening. Even when it seemed due to injuries and maybee playing your top guys too much, you guys were right there till the very end. Hats off to you and your team.

I think or at least hope he would stay at least through his junior year.

Kunyk gathered some steam in H.B. top 10. Great series, great games, all of them, except the 7-2 slaughter... Maybe next year, we don't get 7 games? How about 1-2 in the league?
