Alaska Nanooks 2013-14 Season Thread - On the Road to Perdition...

Re: Alaska Nanooks 2013-14 Season Thread - On the Road to Perdition...

took way too long to edit. It's very cool seeing what they are saying on the ice, including the language. Mic'ed officials and players will never be broadcast.

Great wide angle lense to capture the full body of Butterbean on the bench from close range.

Tim O'Donnell tweeted it, and I'll confirm it: if the Nanooks win tonight, they're in the postseason. At 28 points, their worst case is Bemidji winning out. However, that keeps Bowling Green at no more than 26 points. I think that it's unlikely that a sweep will happen, but there is a lot on the line.

We probably should refrain from making disparaging remarks about personal attributes. It is not politically correct.

On an unrelated note, I found this after the Brice and was wondering if anybody knew who it belongs to?

That is an awesome video. Great job. I like how the refs attempt to protect the goalies as soon as the whistle blows.

With some copy and paste wow you are sooooooo good wow.......high fives all around the "mall".
mmf what a great undersudy you have.

I find it hilarious that the seapup fans just troll our season thread. Without any reason to post in your own, you keep clinging to Fairbanks. Just remember, without us, you'd still be a community college. I feel sorry in advance for all of your bandwagon fans making the trek north just to watch the cup get presented to the 'Nooks... Again... For the 5th time in a row...

Ignoring the Governor’s Cup series for the moment, I just want to congratulate the boys again for a job well done in the second half. Their up-tempo and unselfish play has been a joy to watch. It has been a real team effort and everyone deserves accolades. Team speed and a dogged determination of getting the puck and traffic to the net has changed the character of the team. Still lots of work to do so keep bringing it.

Go Nooks!

without UA_ _airbanks will be the new Chena.
So what if they're the town on the edge of nowhere and they shop at the transfer stations?
And their biggest booster prefers Palinville to _airbanks?
Come on....after they named their program after you I'd think you'd cut them a little slack.

I live on the classy side of the valley, not Wasyphillis. And I moved there because living in Anchorage mostly sucks.
