Alaska Anchorage @ Minnesota 10/30/09-11/1/09

Re: Alaska Anchorage @ Minnesota 10/30/09-11/1/09

I believe the Gophers will score a goal this weekend and I stand by that.

Sounds like, for either team, a win would seem like a successful weekend. For UAA to get a win in MN is a great acomplishment and for MN to simply score a few goals and get a win is a step in the right direction.

But based on past performances and on stats for this season it seems that UAA may actually be the favorite for the series. Don't see either team sweeping though. Saturday game should be brutal, both teams seem to be able to come back from a Friday loss.

Lucia may be asking league officials for better enforcement of rules by officials in hopes of gaining a competative advantage. Will be interesting to see how officials call this series.

Mr. UND Fan,

Saturday's game is Sunday afternoon. I think it's cute that you want to make UAA a favorite but since it's in Minnesota, on their rink, and Minnesota scored 3 goals against UND on their rink I'm going to go Minnesota as the favorite here. I think UAA would be thrilled with a split, and I think Minnesota will not be happy with anything other than a sweep.

Signed,
Scooby

Isn't Alaska MPLS like a 8 hour flight?

If the pilots are paying attention to the map and not posting from their laptops it’s a lot shorter voyage from Anchorage to Minneapolis due to its all downhill.:D

How come UND lost to such a lousy team? I thought they were gods, or something.

They foolishly celebrated Dell's first career shutout by having a Lawn Mower Tossing Contest on Friday night. They didn't recover very well for Saturday night.

And now another goalie has taken the river to Winnipeg.

Did they bring their own lawn mowers, or did they steal them?

Just one?
Freaking Schroeder better pick it up! He's on my fantasy team, and right now he isn't doing too well for me. :)

And now another goalie has taken the river to Winnipeg.

I heard from a reliable source that Eidsness has, in fact, made it to Winnipeg. The current took him right by the Toews' house, so he is staying with them until he figures which ECHL team he wants to try out for.

Obviously brought their own. Sioux players haven't stolen stuff in like five years. DUI's are all the rage now.

I hope he chooses the Johnstown Chiefs so he can play with Hirsch.

That should be fixed now that they aren't allowed to have lap tops in the cockpit anymore.

This thread needs less lameness and more Jockstock.

You will find out Friday first hand and you will not be happy about it…..the streak will continue.

Old Johnny Toews might actually be at home in Winnipeg doing dot to dots and coloring books after that hit he took the other day.:D
