I know it’s very early, but the direction this season is going is very reminiscent of last year.
The gap should be tight 4 through 7
Games between CSC Adrian & SNC should determine how the conference will fall in place, unless one of these slip up.

Not too surprised with the strong showing by the freshman class.

Boys, I like the fact that we're having big 3rd periods. Very much appreciated. But if it's all the same to you, I'd prefer not to dig ourselves 2-0 and 3-0 holes before those 3rd periods.

Two HUGE wins for Adrian, and the NCHA in general. Now, Stevens Point comes to Arrington next weekend, but this was still a big, big win to get.

Awesome results .... "We" folllowed the Live Stats on my western NY road trip
Won't be able to make it to games this weekend, so relay my best wishes to the usual suspects.

The Bulldogs look good and the Top-10 wins were icing on the cake. Nice start to the season for the top class of the NCHA.

A couple late empty net goals, and a late goal for Adrian as well, made the scoreboard look the way it did. For the most part it was a 2-goal game. 2-0, 3-1, 4-2, before the rush of the last two minutes. And that's a pretty fair assessment of how the game played out.

Stevens Point scored a goal that should not have counted late in the 2nd, as they had 6 guys on the ice while their d-man shot the puck near the bench. But, early in the 1st period, Hamby had a puck between his skates sitting right the red line that I could see plain as day, but the referee blew it dead a split second before UWSP poured it into the net. So I guess we're even there. It certainly wasn't an Olm-ing like what we had on our hands last year.

Neumann's an okay team. I do think that UWSP was better. But make no mistake whatsoever. Neumann deserved to win this game. They outplayed us top to bottom, from start to finish.

This might have been the first time in program history that Adrian has been shutout. I'm not in a real big hurry to go look back. I'm sure you all understand.

I have heard and read that most of mankind's problems are self-inflicted. I am a big believer in that. I also believe that there are two things that you, and only you, can control every day of your life: your attitude and your effort. Those theories were on full display this afternoon at Arrington. Now, I'm not on the bench during the game, so I cannot fairly comment on the attitude. But I'm going to be blunt on this point: I thought our effort and performance absolutely sucked this afternoon. We got every bit of what we deserved on the ice. The passing, the skating, the turnovers, everything, was not good enough to win on most nights. And that's why the scoreboard looked the way it did after 60 minutes of play. That was the worst performance I've seen Adrian put forth in the 8 years that Arrington Ice Arena has stood.

Marian is coming to town next weekend. Get it fixed.

Now thats putting the HAMMER down.....They were probably on a little hangover from the night before,**it happens,I am pretty sure they will get it going again..

What was the reason for Adrian taking a timeout 1 second into the 3rd period?

That's a screw-up on the box score. That time-out was with 1 second left in the game.

That would be odd, wouldn't it?

I've seen a couple of those this year. In CUW they had one of our guys taking a penalty, but us scoring a power play goal as a result (5x4). Now figure that one out.
