It's St. Norbert on the other side of the bracket. You remember them well. I'm not going any further than that. What happened in the past is just that. It's in the past. There are players missing from both rosters from last season.

For 17 seniors tomorrow night, this will be the last game of your collegiate careers. There are no more to play after tomorrow, and there are none bigger than the one at hand. The prize every team works for all season is at stake: the National Championship.

Everything you have done over the past four years has been done with this dream in mind, and it is now directly in front of you. Win this game and it's all yours, and you can walk out the door on top. It's going to take everything you've got in the tank. Remember the pent-up frustration of the first two years, and the experiences that went along with that. Play for yourselves. Play for each other, because of what you have gone through collectively the past four years. Play like you're capable and leave nothing back, because this is it. There's no other games after this one. After this, for 17 of you, there's no tomorrow.

Good luck in the finals Adrian. Your program has added a lot to the landscape of D3, but you could help by convincing some of your neighbor schools to move their programs from club to varsity and help the tournament get bigger :D.

Seriously, now that NU is out of it, I can think of nothing more cool than to see two fourth year programs win DIII hockey championships - your men and our women. That could be incentive for other schools to say "hey we can do this"

You know one thing we will never have to listen to in the future is comments suggesting our BullDogs can't compete with the top teams in DIII hockey. Adrian College BullDogs.....it is our time to shine! Enjoy the journey..........

Totals: 102 WINS - 11 Losses - 2 Ties

I think there will be another BIG win added tonight......to make it 103 wins in first 4 years of a hockey program. That is a record that will never be surpassed in our life time. Congratulations men!

Dont get ahead of yourself...lets see how Adrian replaces all of this first before you worry about what people will be saying. Its not like Adrian is jumping out of the water in the recruiting field yet.....enjoy the run, it could be a while before the BullDogs get this chance again, and yes I am a BullDog fan for the night....

Fine, but don't expect this team to fall off the face of the earth in the foreseeable future, either. We've got a little bit coming back, and I've got an idea of what's coming in, too. We'll deal with next season when we get there.

*sigh.......and long deep breath*

So this is how it ends. Not the way we wanted it too, but we got our shot.

It's been one helluva ride, beyond anyone's wildest expectations. From where we started four years ago, to where we wound up, is absolutely unbelievable. I have no regrets, and you owe no apologies whatsoever. What you guys did was incredible.

We lost to the best team in the country. No excuses, no alibis. We went toe to toe with the best team in the country and came up a goal short. No shame in that.

So it's time to say goodbye. I don't know how to do that properly with this class, although I will talk to some of you in a few weeks. Thank you so much for the past four years. I wish each and every one of you the absolute best. What you did will never be forgotten.

We'll deal with next season when it gets here. As for this one, it's over. Thank you, and goodbye.

There's still going to be a fancy trophy going into the trophy case in Adrian, and its sure as heck a lot better else than what most other people can say about what they're adding to their cases this year.

Congrats to the Bulldogs on a great season, and a great playoff run. I can't add anything that Hammer hasn't already said. We lost to the best, but we didn't make it easy on them. Great career for the seniors, thank you for everything you have brought to this program and achieved in your four years! To those returning, and to any potential new recruits: the bar has been set, and set high. Next year is a new beginning for the most part; here's hoping its a Great new beginning! May the Bulldog Legacy carry on!! Go 'Dawgs!

To Remy, Please read the title of this thread and then reread what you wrote. You have established yourself as a person who never has anything positive to say about another teams' program. If Adrian Bulldogs never ever win another hockey game, it will not have any connection to this thread. Have a nice day

C. Actually it will because we will look back on this great season and 4 years and wonder what Adrian could do to get back to this point.

Thanks for acknowledging the great season and accomplishments of the 4 years.
I expect there will be plently of discussion about the future. Not sure this is the right time and it's certainly not the right thread.

Congrats to Adrian on another fine season. The story of your program is truly incredible, and your performance over the weekend doesn't take anything away from that - it adds to it.

I have a question for some of you folks close to the program. I noticed in the box score of the championship game that goaltender Mike Morrisette did not dress. Is he still with the program? Injured? I had figured he was the guy brought in to push Fogal this season and have an inside track on the starting job for next season. I remember his Junior numbers were quite good...

If this was covered somewhere earlier in this thread, I apologize.
