I have always enjoyed the level headed Adrian posters who are taking justifiable pride in their program's accomplishments. I am glad to see the hospitality that is being extended to the Elmira fans. This is a good example of what is good about DIII hockey. It's all about the love of the game and giving respect to your opponents. Props to both sides for what I've been reading about this matchup. May the game live up to everybody's expectations.

Congratulations to the Bulldogs! Great game tonight. First NCAA tournament win in the program's (short) history! Time to head west!

A hell of a game too! Up and down all night. The most fun one could have in Adrian without nessasary needing a co-ed. ;)

Wow what a game! I thought the Bulldogs were going to fold in the 1st, as bad as that is to say. I am glad that they played the last 2 periods like they have the last month and a half of the season. A few questionable calls but the boys kept their composure and played great and they rewarded us fans with a chance to see them advance to the final four. There will be 7 proud Bulldog fans cheering in MN and I hope that they can finish the year with a national title. But we get a chance to rematch Oswego in the semi, and I just hope the outcome will be different. It was a tough game to watch last year but I think this is their year. Congrats to coach Fogarty and the Bulldogs, well deserved win. See you guys in Minny!

wow!!! just saw the score....congrats to Adrian. Never would have thought that in less than 4 years a team could make it to the Final 4.....good luck!

That is an awesome win by Adrian. It is great to have the MCHA represented at the final four. Good luck bulldogs!

Congrats on busting thru for the program's first NCAA win and first frozen four. I know it's a great feeling getting the validation the program belongs with the big boys.

That is an understatement.....Panek blew his whistle once last night to call a single penalty. McSweeny should have been "drug-tested" after the game. He was really strutting around like a peacock last night. He did everything he could to get Elmira back into that game. In 50 years, I have never seen a "Charging" call made on a player skating backwards. McSweeny must have felt embarassed when he called the "Charging" penalty. He asked both Panek & the linesman to come over and chat with him at the penalty box, thinking he should call it a major penalty. Both Panek & the linesman told McSweeney that it was a legitimate clean hit and that the penalty should not have been called at all.

Great game by two great teams. I was very impressed with Elmira's speed and puck movement. Solid power-play unit.

BullDogs seemed to keep their composure despite training after 1st period 2-0. Fans of both teams got their money's worth last night.

How many fans will be making the trip to Minneapolis? I'm just curious as to how big of a crowd we will bring. It is a bit of a trip obviously. Unfortunately, I cannot get out of work to be there :(:(

Can anyone let us know if it is located in convenient proximity to the games ?

NL, just keep me informed. Not familiar with Minny so anywhere is good with me. I will have 6 to 7 others with me as well. The Bulldogs are coming to Minny!

NortherLite, it was great to meet you over the weekend. I will have my same crew +1 in Minny in two weeks rooting on the Bulldogs. Keep us updated on where your crew decides to meet. I checked and the above mentioned looks to be a fabulous location for the pre/post game festivities only 8 miles from Ridder Arena.

If the Bulldogs play the same style game against Oswego, as they did against Elmira, I believe they will have a very good chance at moving on.

Given the distance from Ridder and gametime on Friday I'm thinking this spot will have better potential post game. In any case we'll let you know.

Good luck to Adrian - you have become my favorite Western team. Incredible startup. Good luck and hope your team gets to play our Cadets in the final.

Quite possibly. It's over in St. Paul a decent ways from the Ridder. It is also likely to be jammed up with WCHA fans as the Xcel is right down the road. I used to live blocks from the Ridder...let me ponder ideas for pregame festivities that are bit more local to the FF...

Sounds like a good idea. The Bulldog sounded perfect ...but less time spent in a cab the better.

I would like to be there at least for Friday night's game...anyone know if AC has begun selling tickets, or am I better off going to UM's website?
