Looks like Lee and the 'Stache saved my pitching tonight. Jeebus. Talk about best of times and worst of times (looking at Joe Closer's and RA Dickey's direction).

As always, open for trades, but probably not until June. I'm not exactly the reactionary during a bad stretch.

I now have 4 people on the DL (**** YOU JOE MAUER) and 3 of them are pitchers, but one is coming back very soon and Greinke will be back in 2 weeks or so. I can't even remember who the other one is, but it was some Oriole I had never heard of.

Not surprisingly, my offense is doing pretty well. My pitching is not.

Welcome to my world, except all 4 on the DL are fielders.

Also, how come if a game is PPD the roster spot remains locked? It turns out it wouldn't help me anyway since my one non-injured bench player isn't playing tonight, but I don't see why a spot should be locked if the game isn't going to be played.

(thought I'd get my gloat in now, Martinez is on the DL and Polanco is due to break his leg any day - but he's had an April to make Tigers fans curse, what with the black hole he left us at 2nd base.)

Having 5 guys on the DL doesn't help my team one bit. And all of them are for crap like "oblique strains" so it's not even worth putting some of them on the official DL to get subs. Ugh.

I figured that was coming sooner or later. Still a bit shocking to see my whole team shit the bed on the same week. Some balance would be nice.

now the catcher I got to replace Mauer is on the DL.
David Freese, who was doing really well, broke his hand and is out for 9-12 weeks.
Dallas Braden went to see Dr. Andrews, which cannot possibly be good.

Having Bautista back in the lineup does wonders for my stats. 3 HR today? Are you kidding?
