#9 UW @ #5 tUMD 1/14 and 1/15

Re: #9 UW @ #5 tUMD 1/14 and 1/15

Amsoil Player of the Game, as voted by select members of the media, Brad Sheppard

The game misconduct on M-Con was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. It was impossible for him to see the play, as he was looking up ice when M-Con hit the Wisco player shoulder to chest.

What else would you expect from a ref named Sheppard? I've decided "why bother" when it comes to the wcha reffing. They are less consistant than the weatherpeople on tv.

The 2nd major penalty on tUMD, followed by the two minor penalties, was probably the most suspect officiating I've ever seen in my whole life. However, tUMD miraculously killed those penalties despite UW's unreal PP. Un. Real. It is the best PP I've seen in a LONG TIME.

Additionally, Kenny Reiter received a tripping penalty while not on the ice, which curiously enough negated the first two minutes of our major penalty.

However, 2 pipes and 2 crossbars and one wacky glove save were the difference in the game, not the suspect penalty calls.

Saturday's game had to be one of the oddest games I have ever seen. Still happy with 3/4 from Wisconsin. If we had more time at the end of the game we could have had a tie game. Alas it was not to be.
