Speaking of droughts.....UMD has never beat a Division 1 in their new building. Here's to keeping that streak alive.

Agreed. But, I think it would like 10x better if they had Minnesota above Duluth, and lowered it a little bit. Not a fan of just being called "Duluth". That is what everyone else calls us because they are lazy.

Isn't UMD shorthand for Minnesota Duluth as well? Hell, isn't Minnesota Duluth short hand for University of Minnesota Duluth?

Yes of course. I should be more specific. Duluth is the quickest to say because of the syllables involved.

But Duluth is only two syllables, while UMD is three and Minnesota Duluth is six.

Someone said they would wear the Duluth ones the rest of the year. And then last Saturday versus Team USA Under 18 they wore the regular jerseys. It seems like a toss up as of now.
