8th place is in danger on the last day of the season. :eek:

Trying Not To Suck (9th) is only 1.5 games out of 8th, behind Big League Chew. Both teams are winning, but TNTS is winning by a larger margin.

Should be interesting tomorrow morning to see how it shakes out.

Thankfully my team didn't completely crap the bed this week. I'm 99.9% sure I'm safe.

I thought I had a reasonable shot to make the playoffs, that is until my Phillies heavy lineup that seemed so solid when we drafted, went on a 3 month crap the bed tour.

It was fun being in this league with you all, and wish all the best to those going onto the playoffs!!

Made it!

Although in my other league, I went from 3rd to 7th in two weeks. :mad: Less than 5 games separated the teams in 3rd-7th. :eek:

Unless moves are restricted in the playoffs you could make moves to try and do better. Its only Tuesday. You have 20 or so moves left it looks like.

Just remember if you add them today, you can't use them till tomorrow.

No reason to save moves at this point.

It's not that I don't like the players I have, they got me here, it's just they haven't had a hot couple of days. No guarantee making moves gets me anyone better. Plus I should have started Bumgarner. Always trust a guy named Bumgarner. :p

Seems silly that I am playing a team from my division in the first playoff round.

Divisions mean something for top 4 seeds, but not for the matchups themselves.

Oh yeah, and me getting Jose Bautista as a free agent during the early season was the steal of the year. :D

Unless something crazy happens in the Stl/Atl game tonight it looks like I will provide the only upset of the first playoff round.

Mike Stanton (Fla) went nuts for me this week.

6 R, 11 H, 5 HR, 8 RBI, 28 TB, .440 AVG.

As did previously mentioned Jose Bautista (Tor).

5 R, 6 H, 3 HR, 7 RBI, 1 SB, 17 TB, .231 AVG.

I'm going to guess it has something to do with winning the league...

The Creampuffs finished 2nd. I can't complain about that. It means 14 teams were beat by a bunch of Creampuffs! :D

Well I'm happy enough to make the playoffs, and actually win a series in it, after the way my team was looking during the summer. On a side note, my Panda/ARod for Papi/Headley/Figgins/etc trade ended up in my favor as my hitting really came alive in the last few weeks to get me into the postseason.
