Tough two weeks ahead for the #2 Creampuffs, as I play #3 Minnetonka Menace and #1 Upper DECCers.

And as usual, the WCHA division is the toughest division in the league, the EZAC is terrible, Hockey East only has 2 great teams, and the CCHA has one great team. :D

Still movin' on up in our league. :D

I kinda had a good week in my other league in the pitching stats:

8-2, 4 saves, 65K, 2.00 ERA and 0.98 WHIP. :D (and that was with Papelbon missing most of the week)

Lovely I get a 5-1, 4 save, 1.90/.70 week and only 3 three points because my opponent has to go 5-1 with 5 saves. And of course my offense decided not to show up, I guess relying heavily on the Giants infield was not a good strategy.

Don't feel too bad. I will probably lose 13 pts this week due to several factors.

- Opponent doing well
- 2 players go on berevement list
- 1 or 2 days with less than 5 players playing due to light schedule
- Dice-k is a wuss and goes on DL again just before his start.
- Carlos Monasterios
- Jose Bautista held out of a random midweek game.

That is a bad recipe. :D :(

I'm doing ok, holding steady this week, but still can't understand why teams who need pitching (in either league I am in) won't give up Pablo Sandoval/Miguel Cabrera/Joey Votto for basically their choice in starting pitchers.

I even offered up Josh Johnson (and possible extra change) for Cabrera, and no go.

Update:

Apparently after rethinking my offer from a while ago, Johnson for Cabrera is pending. This pleases me. :)

My pitching has been slumping, but Johnson wouldn't have made a difference. However, my batting has obviously improved.

Glad it worked out for the both of us. That's a sign of a good trade, IMO.

My pitching has completely turned to ****. So I'm trying to salvage it. I'm absolutely terrified to say that I just dropped Moonshot Scott for RA Dickey. I also picked up Brian Duensing, because it is only a matter of time before he's in the Twins rotation to replace one leg of the trifecta of ****.

what is wrong with you? you know you will never be able to sign him long term.

I believe this is the last week of the regular season for our league.

Looking at the standings and current scores, it doesn't look like the top 8 is going to change much.
