Given Wisconsin's history in the Frozen Four, I was expecting a yawner. Even the one game they lost was pretty boring. Their 1-0 win over SLU was their only previous one-goal game, and that was a case of the score being better than the game.

If UW doesn't allow the 2 mistakes on the BC goals, allowing a player to beat them 1 on 1, it's a shut out. Thankfully they overcame those 2 glaring mistakes. That diving call against UW was total 100% certified class AAA bs.

Agree 100% - a great effort all the way around. Wisconsin was just a little too deep. But their failure to capitalize on numerous great scoring chances almost cost them.

OTOH, Deluce goes down more than any other elite player I've ever seen, and there's been no improvement over 4 years.
I hate those coincidental hook/trip & dive calls. They shouldn't be allowed to call that. If an infraction was committed against the offensive player, then that is why she fell. If there was no foul, then a diving call would be allowed.

The second one was more like a 1 on 3 - it seemed like she skated by/around/through the whole team. Just a superlative individual effort. The first one was also an uncharacteristic defensive breakdown, as Bolden just outraced several Badgers along the boards, before cutting in and getting off a very nice wrist shot. Even so, it was from far enough out that I'm sure Rigsby would like to have that one back.

take the matching call and be glad because BC should've had a PP when Stack was taken down in front of Rigsby.....watching the BC-NU men's game, the referee, Gravalese cost NU at least 1 goal if not 2!

I didn't see a D back on that play. It looked to me like Knight failed to hold at the point, and then Duggan was back and got beat on the rush. But I'll defer to anyone with a better view, and that's probably everybody.
