I thought the same thing watching the NESCAC tournament games over the weekend. Apparently, they just play him that much! Incidentally, he just set up a goal, game now 1-1.

Curry gets one on a turn over, who would of thunk? Come on D, pick it up whether it's our lapses or Curry's forechecking. Don't leave Carroll to save the game.

Bowdoin leads Neumann 2-1 after 2 periods.

Bowdoin leads Neumann 2-1 through two periods. Second period was very different than the first, Bowdoin started hitting on long lead passes which is how they generate a lot of their offense, led to one of their two goals. Neumann's best chances came on the power play, Bowdoin goalie made some more nice saves, both goalies have played well. Biggest difference was that in the first, Neumann was all over Bowdoin forcing turnovers and getting chances in transition, in the second both teams settled down and the slower pace seemed to favor Bowdoin.

I hate to say it, but, Jack Healy needs to learn how to pronounce the player's names....He's been in the business for over 40 years and hasn't a clue (apparently) how to prep for the broadcast. Unless he's just using his Castleton bias and doing it on purpose.

Bowdoin has the right entrance music. I could go to "battle" to that on the ice every game. I love the Last of the Mohicans theme song. One of the best movie theme songs ever.

Neumann with another cheap shot as I write this. All you can say to that is wow...when you are in the playoffs you can't be playing with no regard for where you are on the ice. How do you not pull up on that hit? You have to know that you will get at least a penalty out of it. Good night Neumann.

Apparently Neumann has just received their 2nd game misconduct for the night - Bowdoin gets to work with a major. Sounds like the Knights are doing themselves in with stupid penalties - anything seen otherwise?

any idea what Jack was hinting to at the beginning of the period when he brought up Plattsburgh getting a bye and Norwich having a play in???? he trying to say that Norwich should have had the bye???

Norwich now up 5 to 1 over Curry. Great matchup in store this weekend in Platty.

I give Neumann credit for playing as physical a style as any DIII team I have seen. they finish every check. They've run into trouble, basically, by simply refusing to pass up any hits, even where guys were facing the boards or defenseless

Terrible announcers for Bowdoin. Every game in the ECAC--West is a battle and played hard and physical..The knights are just playing Neumann hockey

I agree on the point that they are a VERY physical team from just watching this game alone. Every check as you say is finished and not half #$$ed. It makes me want to face Bowdoin more than Neumann as I think they would slow things down too much and the Lakers don't fair too well in a game like that. I like the idea of flying up and down the ice with Bowdoin better. The thing that worries me is that Bowdoin's powerplay and offense in general is pretty lethal. So I guess it is pick your poison at this time of the year. Just come out and play your best hockey and leave everything on the ice and you should get the W.

Edit: Goal waved off for Bowdoin with less than 6 minutes. Whistle blown too early from the looks of it.

Apparently Neumann trying to continually do illegal line changes says the announcers? Refs keep sending them back?

Goal just waved off for Bowdoin still 2-1
