This is a KRACHless thread. If you want to scratch the KRACH, go to the NCAA thread.

Anyway, two interesting games, 4 excellent coaches. Wish I was there.

Please let me know if there is a Tom Coughlin sighting.

In the past, my safe bet was West is Best. But I think tonight, Genny and SNC will move on.

Geneseo will win two games this weekend in the place where miracles happen. ESPN will be calling the next day.

Never thought I'd live to see Ice Knights 30 for 30...

Anyway, not getting ahead of myself. Lots of hockey left and 4 very good teams. Wish I was there.

I think UMB will continue to thrive as the "underdogs" while continuing to ride their hot goaltender and team confidence. UMB and Genny knock off the West tonight and the Championship game will be decided in OT with the decider coming from the Beacons early in the period. Can't wait to see some great hockey this weekend either way..

In Lake Placid and ready for some hockey! I think Geneseo will give Stevens Point a really tough test, but I'm going with Pointers 4-3.
The other semifinal, I see the inexperience of not playing any western team in many years as a problem for UMass Boston. St. Norbert 5-2
Good luck to all teams!! Going to be awesome. My 9th Championship weekend......Should be 10th.. **** you 2007!!!!

ouch....Genny getting outskated badly,they need to move their feet...the big ice makes it more difficult in the dzone and shows any defensive weakness,be it slower skaters or position play,hope they can make it more interesting in the 2nd......

Genny is just far out matched in this game. Stevens point is playing well at both ends. Pulling for Genny though! Time to pick it up

4-0 Pointers on pass from the slot to the backdoor. Now 8 minutes left in the second

Geneseo stoned twice on a 2-0 breakaway during UWSP power play, but then they do score and get one back.

I was about to say "Missing the net on a Three-on-Oh short handed opportunity is a pretty good sign that it's not gonna happen tonight"... And then Geneseo cashed in on a two-on-one short handed opportunity mere seconds later"

that Karty kid is good,4 yrs in the USHL.led his team in scoring his last yr there,I guess he was supposed to go to Lake Superior State,wondering why he was at point,he will be an all-american next yr if he plays the full season.
