I am sure its been hashed out b4 but ...thoughts on the bigger rink,do any teams play on this size sheet during the year?? Not sure I like it??....and yes I know its the same for both teams..

SNC does not play on the big ice at home, although its facility has an Olympc rink - which they practiced on this week. Is Lake Forest big ice? MSOE?

I really thought Geneseo would have proved a closer match up with Steven's Point. Large ice, jitters, or likely played against the "better team". Congrats to both teams for making it this far. Sure hope it is an East West match up tomorrow:rolleyes:

Checking in here - kind of sad that Genny couldn't move on. They have been subject to so much sadness. They were a sentimental favorite. As for now - go Beacons!

No excuses: Geneseo lost to a great team. But you wonder what effect the larger ice may have played. Geneseo seemed to have some real defensive issues in the first period. I know it's the same for both teams but still not sure I like the switch up this time of year.

Hats off the Stevens Point. Hope they break their streak tomorrow.

I have not seen Geneseo play this year, but I've seen UWSP twice. I suspect that UWSP just had a better team. Sometimes it's just that simple. There's no shame in that. UWSP has done that to us a few times the past couple years.
