Some fact checkers are needed for the NESN crew. According to the commentators, BU's last national title prior to last year was 1997 and Maine's last Hockey East tournament championship was 1999.

That and the color guy said "queer street".

Maine won in 2004, and didn't win Hockey East in 1999 :p

Oh good, so I wasn't the only one that heard that. I thought he was trying to say that 1997 was the last time they were in the championship game before last season. But he was probably just wrong.
