This week in Republicans.

Well, after the great vaccine debate where we still have folks who believe the science on vaccines is wrong we now have this Nevada Congresswoman who believes Cancer is a fungus and is sponsoring a bill based on that belief.

Fiore, who operates a home health care business that sometimes passes payroll taxes onto the IRS, said she knew of friends who left the country to find end-of-life treatments that are not FDA-approved. And then the payoff:

"If you have cancer, which I believe is a fungus," she began, citing a widely debunked theory that the American Cancer Society warns about, "and we can put a pic line into your body and we're flushing with, say, salt water, sodium cardonate (I think she means bicarbonate), through that line and flushing out the fungus. These are some procedures that are not FDA-approved in America that are very inexpensive, cost-effective."

This is a representative democracy. Morons deserve their own Congressmen, too.

I actually would have thought "cancer is a fungus" would be a Marin County New Age Dingbat position. There are other forms of magical thinking besides the crucifix death cult.

Is anyone actually arguing we need DHS? That is a sinkhole of money and governmental overreach that needs to die a quick death. If the Repubs actually defunded it and got it shut down I would applaud them.

At last count we have 20 IC agencies and entities. We need about 4: FBI, CIA, DIA, and DOE's piece of the atom pie. Everything else could be rolled into those four. DOS and DOT can liaison with CIA and FBI respectively. Nothing else is needed. DHS and DNI in particular are pure wastes.

Here, not sure. Elsewhere, they're playing the 9/11 card for justifying DHS, saying the homeland won't be secure. How about enforcing the borders, then it might actually be secure.

We are never going to be secure. Spending billions on another federal "intelligence" agency so they can get into ****ing contests with the FBI and NSA is just stupid. They should have never been created in the first place and it is time to put them out to pasture.

If the people need jobs, put them in charge of the TSA and fire the hillbillies that work at the airport now. I trust them to stop a terrorist less than I trust myself with a bottle of Blanton's and a glass. ;)

One other thing that did come up in Mr. Day's warning was that the NWO would make it more increasingly difficult to travel. As much as we should get rid of the TSA, people don't want to take initiative to defend themselves, and want mommy/daddy to defend them. And look what happens.

Can you fill me in, please? (I am assuming this was not the correct reference.)

Actually, it should be Dr. Day. Dr. Day gave a speech regarding the New World Order, and although notes and recording were strictly prohibited, Dr. Lawrence Dunegan, with his amazing memory, put it onto tapes and released "The New Order of Barbarians", which described these warnings. Dr. Day was subsequently murdered by the government (of course being ruled as a suicide and/or accident) for exposing this information.

Although Dr. Day states it may be impossible to stop the NWO, even in 1969, it serves as a warning for what we must battle in order to preserve freedom.

Jon Stewart destroyed the right wing media last night. It was almost (almost) unprofessionally personal. But he nailed the exact reason I haven't voted for a Republican in 6-8 years and haven't watched fox or any such garbage in about 10.

He absolutely nailed it. Oddly enough, it felt almost like a combination of a pair of Last Week Tonight episodes mashed together. He said it's time to stop arguing with the four-year-olds and move on. Frankly, I agree. I lean right but what Republicans have been doing over the last 8-12 years is embarrassing.

Given the state of politics in this country, many voters would likely give wrestling's NWO a shot at running things. Not like things are running well now.


Oh, and Obama actually has to take action on Keystone after how many years of dodging it?
