Believe it or not I personally didn't come up with "knuckledraggers" but I don't recall where I first read it. I do take credit for putting it into the mainstream however. :D

Huh. When did you "coin" this term?

ETA: According to a site search, you started using this term on June 18, 2013. Yet there is evidence of it on the web as far back as September 2012.

While George W Bush is clearly the worst President since Nixon, and perhaps the worst of all time, that's no reason to wish ill health on the man. Here's hoping for a complete recovery.

It really doesn't matter what we say here, they've got their narrative and we're all monsters anyway. For example...

I never said you're all monsters, but 8 years of the same vitriolic hatred against 43 as we see today shows the colosal double standard on the left. No problem wishing death or worse on Bush, but if I or any other conservative criticizes the Sun King in any way shape or form we're all branded as racists.

Their memories are selective. Craig Kilborn joking about "snipers." The current SecState kidding about "killing one bird," films where Bush was assassinated and continuing public suggestions that he be killed. All brought to us by "progressives." "Progressives" who would wet themselves if that kind of hatred was directed at "The One." Their amnesia extends as well to their frequent lectures about "hypocrisy."

No idea why I remember this, but I'm pretty sure some bit on his show displayed text that read "snipers wanted" over video of Bush 43. Might have been crosshairs and not the text, but it was something along those lines.

Back when I was but a young lad, I recall the butt-kicking manly conservatism of Ronald Reagan, "Ronbo" as he was affectionately called. Nowadays we get these same cons openly weeping whenever somebody points out that GWB was the worst President ever. A good poster child for the "new conservative male" is The Boner, who can't go more than 5 minutes without bawling his eyes out in public over something or other.

Reagan must be rolling over in his freakin' grave. :D

Correct. And not a single sniffle from libstains (who presumably thought it was funny). CBS was upset. So much so that Kilborn was fired (four years later).
