2026 Winter Olympics

Sorry to go on and on…. Wrobo had a puff piece in the athletic which was basically prepping us for his departure. Good on Muzerall for loving the women’s game and showing up.

Who is this guy, how did he get such an important job? I read his resume and it's really a nothing burger.
He’s a USA hockey guy. Like the guy before Johnson that left because he didn’t care for Covid protocols. To wrobos credit he’s so far done well and the team loves him I think and the guys he coached as youngins are now in the semis on the guys side.

He seems like a character, interesting quotes for the media, into his wardrobe, great at developing talent. sounds familiar.

Nothing??
Wroblewski joins the U.S. Women’s National Team following two years (2020-2022) as the head coach of the Ontario (Calif.) Reign of the AHL and four seasons (2016-2020) as a head coach with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program.

So it's the big one! USA versus Canada! Who gets gold? To me all the pressure is on Canada. They've been sucking and their country lives for this. Can they win from the underdog position, or does that just sap their will? The US hasn't played from behind at all. How are they going to play if they drop a goal early? That might be the key right there. Canada's has to score first. Then it'll come down to do the US players trust system or will they panic and try to do too much and therefore do not enough.

Fun to cheer for an underdog so go Canada. I think it will take a miracle. Poulin and ARD need to play out of their minds and still more will be needed. US needs to have an epic collapse. Make Frankel work, make her uncomfortable.

4 years of coaching high schoolers and 2 years of coaching men. It's not a very deep resume. With a roster like he has of one of us could probably do enough "coaching" to get them to the gold medal game LOL.
That statement defines you as a fan with no real hockey experience.

At the "risk" of turning an Olympic gold into a participation medal, I think Badger fans and Gopher fans and Buckeye fans should want the winner to alternate between US and Canada. To maximize the number of players you've been rooting for have a gold on their resume. Eg Knight has a gold from 2018, Nurse and Clark and Desbiens got theirs in 2022. Today Curl and Harvey and Simms and Laila and McNaughton get theirs. Watts has to wait until 2030.

lol! That’s kind of what I want as I figure it’s healthy for the development of girls hockey in North America.

Switzerland Sweden is on now. Hopefully a good game.

Hey, I like to shoot pucks at the net in the basement. I even cut out a plywood goalie so I'd have rebounds. I really enjoy playing goalie. My sons played for a few years until it became a hockey became a lower priority financially and scholastically. I even own skates. Once I fell walking to an outdoor rink and broke some ribs. 🤣 So yes I am qualified. 😜

I feel like Canada is due for a good game. They are too talented to lose so many time in the row to the US of A. I'm too chicken to make a prediction at this point.

Love Canada. Enjoy visiting and see them as brothers (and sisters) from another mother.

Can't stand Hockey Canada and the arrogance of the country when it comes to the sport of hockey.

I will never want Canada to beat us in hockey for any reason whatsoever. Even the dipshit ass-clown Tkachuk brothers won't turn me against team USA when it comes to hockey.

Go USA!

Great comment. I love both countries and feel this was quite well stated. Canadas women’s roster is the definition of arrogant this year. Spooner not the same since her injury and Nurse fresh off injury, 8 million grinders, old people.

Well Peacock just stopped streaming the Bronze medal game right after Switzerland's OT win. Apparently those morons don't know watching the medal presentation is part of the Olympic experience! 😡

Yea I looked away and missed the goal too and there was no replay. Lol. A work in progress. I know I’ll see it eventually. Muller is so likable….. amazing hockey player, hope to see some post game interviews… somewhere. Congrats to Brandi, big win for the former Buckeye.
