Even if the Finn caught Mackinnon high however slightly, the ref clearly didn't see the penalty and solely called the penalty based on the acting job that followed. That arm went up a good 4 Mississippis after any contact was made.

And this situation would be unthinkable in any other sport. FIBA certainly wouldn’t do it for basketball. Heck, for soccer, at the World Cup it’s considered controversial if the referees are from the same continent as one of the teams.
this is anecdotal, but I really don't know any elite athletes who are what I would refer to as intelligent.That makes me incredibly sad, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I will never understand why anyone likes anything about that man. He is the most evil, vile, human being.
