It's a concert venue built by a concert promoter that's hosting hockey for two weeks.Somehow I missed the actual layout of the arena amid all the construction news. Is there a reason the seats are so far from the ice? Converting to international width after the Olympics? Better layout for conventions and non-hockey events? I think Beijing had a similar setup, though that didn't really matter with the crowd restrictions in place.

Sure, Canadians are great to hang out with in general. I have a bunch of friends just across the border who I visit often. But start talking about hockey ... you better stand back. LOLTo be fair, I haven't been anywhere near the Canadian events so my interactions have been with people either at bars or at US games.
I've attended enough World Jrs and World Championships to know there are a lot of "passionate" Canadian fans
