2026 Frozen Four

Looking into the parking situation the event parking passes for sale are for lots that are too far a walk for the elderly and disabled. When I spoke with Penn State's parking & transportation they really didn't have a real solution. Seems somebody dropped the ball.

Didn't they just host like 4 years ago?

Back when they first announced that a new 6000-seat hockey arena was being built, I assumed the plans would include a parking deck for a crowd like that, but nope, and that's been my biggest gripe since the arena was built.

Isn't there something called ADA laws...?

Traffic & parking told me the football ADA lot at the Shields building behind Pegula off of Curtin Rd. (Yellow H) can be used by anyone with a handicap placard or license plate but it's not included in the prepay Frozen Four parking passes and you'd have to scan the QR code on the signs and pay an hourly rate. AND not all spaces will be available because some genius at Penn State decided to set up a Fan Fest event in part of the lot! 🤔😡

Not that I need a handicap lot, but why am I starting to regret my decision to go to this year?

Is Uber or the like an option for you?

I have a hard time believing that it will be worse than when the DIII natty was at Orr Rink. Were you at that tourney?
No. But I heard stories.

But that was an on campus site selection, so they had minimal time to prepare. Penn State knew about this for years, and hosted it before. And, I would think they have held some pretty big events in the past, like every Saturday home football game.

To be fair, we have to wait to see how it turns out. But simple things like handling handicap parking one would think they would have nailed down.

I've never used it. We ran into the same situation at the Frozen Four in Durham. The lower lot against the arena was reserved for the media. It was a couple hundred yard walk from the six ADA parking spaces. My wife really struggled with it.

Hey, does anyone know whether the championship game will be viewable to subscribers of ESPN+ rather than the full ESPN package?

Their page (ESPN women's hockey) shows the semifinals on ESPN+ but the final only on ESPNU.

I think in the past this may have worked for me as an ESPN+ subscriber, though, even with ESPNU designated -- not sure.

The game shows on the "upcoming" schedule on their web site, and when I click the link, the page I get says "You have access to stream this content".

Well it’s the most exciting weekend of the year in college hockey. No matter which way any of this goes it will be great stories.

I would argue Wisconsin winning is boring except for the fact that would be number 4 for Lacey Eden? Incredible

OSU —- remember when they were first good it was because of hanrahan, then the goalie who needed hip surgery, then Elander, then the extra 5th year. They were supposed to fall apart last year and here they are strong as ever, like their rink, that just won’t give up. Now it is NIL (apparently) from which they draw their strength. Can they summit the mountain a 3rd time?

Penn State and NU - history would be made.

The Athletic reported all three games will be on espn plus and the final will be on ESPNU.

Game is also viewable from one side of Pegula. Let’s do this.
