2026 Elections: To the Midterms and Beyond!

How desperate are they to prop up Sullivan (and possibly Begich) that Dump is now threatening South Korea to sign on to the LNG pipeline deal that was supposedly done already?

So at appx 1 month out - anyone have predictions on how this will go?

For me I'm still feeling pretty confident the Dems will take the house - For the sake of predictions I'll go with something around 15-20 seats.

Feeling a bit less bullish about the senate, despite some of the polling we are seeing. I do think Cooper will win in NC, seeing Talarico win wouldn't shock me nor would seeing El Sayed win (I still think Stevens would have given us better odds but El Sayed is clearly a very charismatic and talented politician which goes a long way). After that i just kind of have a sense that many of the republicans will come home at the 11th hour making the Ohio's etc. a much more difficult task. I spent several days in Maine for work and didn't sense a lot of excitement for Jackson - not sure the "country bumpkin" image is panning out and Collins seems to have beaten the odds over and over again. At the end of it I'll go with a guess of something like 51-49 or 50-50 in favor of the Republicans.

I'll pick chaos - the Senate ends up 50/50 and Stroked Out does the full heel-turn and goes indie.

Ohio is a long-term lost cause and Brown + the GOP's epic failshow is the only reason it's within statistical error. Dems are more likely to finally break through in Texas.

They'll find another demigod to carry on the Moral Majority/Socialism Bad grift. And next time, he might be a competent authoritarian.

It won't be Vance though. Everyone knows he's a weirdo.

Graham Platner had "it" Troy does not have "it" Collins ads are non stop on every media platform. Its very obnoxious and that should drive some to vote for Troy :)

You just can't predict what is going to come out of the Orange Menace's mouth.... Last night in Nebraska, he called for Iran to take out LA and San Diego. When is the last time a sitting president has called for the death of millions of Americans? And let me guess, we will not hear a peep against it from MAGAts.

It's not the Magats that I worry about. It's the supposed moderates. No one wants to hold this man accountable including many Democrats. This country is lost. I watch news, I watch media. Maybe it's my algorithm but the things that I see and hear are more concerned about Democratic Socialism then they are about Maga Fascism. And we keep flip flopping over nothing. The "overreach" of Joe Biden was 1. Running Again. 2. The Border. 3. DEI. The overreach by Trump is 1. Killing and deporting Americans. 2. Going to War with Iran. 3. Funneling every penny of tax dollars to the rich.

Again. Which of these is a problem? Well, apparently both. False equivalency is, has, and will destroy America. It probably already has.

They'll be all for it.
Yep, which is why they get zero sympathy. They chose to swaddle their anxieties in the double ignorance of religion and demagoguery. We will remind them of their support of this false god and career fraudster for the rest of their miserable, dirt-eating, pathetic lives. When their day comes and they can't get healthcare, fuck 'em. I can't be bothered to give a shit either way.
