ticapnews would tell you he’s done more than anyone on here. And maybe he’s right. I, for one, think this is the wrong time to divide with the enemy directly in front of us.
 
We could do it. We have the greatest organizing tool in the history of humanity.

For now anyway...most governments are trying to do away with the anonymous nature of the Internet. For the children, you know...
 
Well, one of my coworkers got fired for suggesting everyone not show up on night shift once, and I don’t think it was for political purposes. If you can pay my salary for the few months until I can find a new job with all that money you have to play the stock market, maybe I’m interested.

Who else am I going to complain to? My neighbor who wanted to punch my lights out cause I said the Covid Vaccine did some good things? Or here, where at least I can somewhat get a sympathetic ear?

Personally I expect to get shot in the head by my neighbor who worships Lil Hitler and flies the Gadsden Flag.

The idea is that the whole country stops working. That's why it's called a general strike. It isn't just one shift at one company. They can't fire everyone.
Not yet anyway. If AI is ever ready then our corporate overlords will be more than happy to kick everyone to the curb and watch them starve.

Yes I know the idea. Like I said, if I get fired, if you’ve got me covered, I’ll consider it.
 
Like I said, it'll never happen. 45 years of trickle down has produced a society of rugged individuals while destroying the idea of shared sacrifice. We'd never be able to fight WW2 today. We can't even wear a mask or get a vaccination.
