Again - it is lazy and does nothing to help (and in fact probably hurts) your cause.
At this particular moment probably El-Sayed as while Trump is in office I believe it is important for Democrats to take the senate.
In other scenarios i may very well cross the aisle on this one. (For example, if candidates were a mirror image running for governor of Massachusetts or if Democrats already had a strong hold on the Senate)... keep in mind I don't know a ton about Mike Rogers so i say that with you telling me he is a moderate.
Hurt what cause? I’m not trying to sell anyone on anything. At this point, if an American voter can’t see the gaping chasm between the Trump-run GOP and Democrats, nothing I’m going to say is going to change that. Again, if me calling someone a moron causes that person to vote for fascism instead of saving democracy because a stranger inexplicably hurt his or her feelings, I think that’s something that person needs to work on.
So you’re saying if Bernie was POTUS and there was a $5.5 trillion infrastructure reconciliation bill that would pass with AES’ vote in Michigan, or nothing with Rogers, as 50-50 with the VP AOC as the tiebreaker would become 51-49 GOP, you’d take Rogers for the checks and balances?
