Nobody advocated for deflation, learn how to read. Pretty obvious why your privileged ass just ignored the rest of the post talking about how the cost of everything went up drastically and why saying “economy fine IM SPEAKING”
isn’t a winning message but it’s pretty obvious by now you guys don’t actually care about that. Especially the racists like deutsche cheering for deportations and saying blatantly racist tropes about Muslims.

Deflation begets many bad things, and absolutely starts a spiral towards economic depression.

Everybody stops buying all but the barest of necessities, waiting for that better deal on their favorite widget. Then the mass layoffs start, then prices depress even more as people can’t spend the money they’re not earning, and then more layoffs, and the cycle continues.

A few hundred, or even a few thousand items going through a price correction is a good thing. For deflation to happen, it’s dang near everything dropping like our collective spirit around here, or trixie’s credibility.

and like, really, eggs? We were coming out of a massive pandemic with runs on eggs because everyone started playing GBBO which was then followed immediately by a bird flu pandemic within the poultry industry decimating supply.

those prices ARE coming down and HAVE come down what would people bitching about egg prices have Biden do? Shoot anyone who charges more than they used to? There's not much you can do about an entire supply get chopped in half simultaneously with demand doubling.

and if you want to talk about prices, look at congress, the real assholes responsible. They didn't do a goddamn thing to reign in corporate greed and gouging. Maybe direct your ire at Mike Johnson spending more time watching what his kid was looking up on pornhub than actually legislating.

and then the whole thing where trix just drops in only after a bad loss with a historically successful campaign* looking for a dog to kick. Same with his hero Bernie. Who for whatever reason excreted the line that the democrats abandoned workers despite Biden being the most pro-labor president since FDR.

*check swing states vs safe states and non-safe states; Harris was significantly more successful in the swings
 
Harris dropped out of the primary in like 9th place in 2019 but ok lmao.

And who the fuck said anything about eggs? Necessities like rent, housing, groceries, healthy insurance, cars, energy bills all went up. Telling everyone they’re wrong about this is laughable.

And it isn’t just one bad loss to Trump, they managed to do it twice

you'll notice not a single person on here blamed leftists. We realized we were up against a juggernaut of inflation (despite it being back within historical norms for a year now). Worldwide you've got incumbent parties getting smoked on both the left and right.

Buddy what do you think the members of this echo chamber are doing? Telling Muslims they deserve to be deported in a vat of bacon grease or hoping the economy crashes because Harris couldn’t even run a campaign as well as Hillary’s… like maybe direct your ire at the party that stands for nothing.

IDGAF who is responsible, I want change on this front, and it didn't happen. So yea, this is a legit reason why D's lost this election and why many young people gave them the finger in the process.

Get off your high horse. You really are acting like an elite prick who makes $250k+/year. This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

The administration had the chance to address the issue. They didn't. That's why a huge chunk of potential voters walked to the other side.

People don't care how the sausage is made with things like this. They just care about results.

That's the point that seems to be missed. The Dems didn't convey that message to most of the country.

Those "who weren't messaged to" said they "felt" the economy was in the sh*tter. When told that the rate of inflation was back to pre-pandemic rates (or close), cries of "my eggs are still expensive!" went up. When told that the egg producers f*cking colluded to artificially inflate egg prices, your "un-messaged" voter went "Nah, can't be. Biden hasn't done shit to fix it."

Your "un-messaged" whined that Kamala, the "Border Czar" (which, isn't a real thing and never happened anyway) helped hold the gate open at the broder for all the illegals. Actual facts again were thrown out showing crossings were down, illegals captured were up, and the Border Patrol was doing their damn job. "But we're told that a whole town of illegals are eating cats and dogs!" No, the "un-messaged" were fed a straight up lie by JD Vance (about his own state!) and by the GOP. They *admitted* it was a lie.

VANCE TOLD A NATIONAL TELEVISION AUDIENCE THAT HE WAS TOLD THEY WOULDN'T FACT CHECK HIS LIES.

I can go on and on, so excuse me for not believing all that was missing was messaging. Really hard to get people's attention with facts when you have fire trucks, a circus, a marching band, and fireworks distracting everyone.
