2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season: Non-Minnesotans arguing about the weather

Would have been better if they added "she voted against FEMA funds and refuses to go back to vote again".
 
Just looked at the radar from the weather channel- looks like almost all of the precip is on the north side of the eye. Seems that would help keep the water problem south to just storm surge and not rain flooding.
 
There's a subreddit called Boomers Being Fools and the number of people posting about parents that are refusing the evacuate is staggering. People are responding to tell the parents to write their names and SS#s on their bodies for ease in identifying them afterwards.

The fact that Disney World and the Waffle Houses all closed should be reason enough to GTFO.

Tornado warning moved on, no action. Just back to our regularly scheduled steady rain and 10 mph winds.

I was in Florida during Wilma, the year of Katrina. Hit in the night , early morning, Sea World didn't close and Disney was open in the afternoon. Bet Disney is open tomorrow :)

Watching the storm surge feed I swear I just saw an enormous mutant carnivorous crab drowning. The hell with Florida.
