2024-25 Schedules Thread

Yale and Brown over the past few years, Harvard and Dartmouth this year. Looking forward to Cornell and Princeton soon to complete the Ivies.

Looking back BC has not played either Cornell or Princeton in almost 20 years and all those times were in tournaments. Princeton only once in 40 years and Cornell only twice in 40 years. The Princeton game was in a Denver consolation game when BC surprisingly lost a shootout to Ferris State. The Cornell games were a Florida tournament where they were scheduled to play and a Cornell OT win in a Providence regional final. Not sure what to make of this as those were the only games since the break from the ECAC for Hockey East.

For several years, Cornell and BU played each other over Thanksgiving weekend at Madison Square Garden. This year Cornell’s out of conference games include a weekend with North Dakota in Ithaca, two games against Sacred Heart and a tournament at ASU where they will play UMass in the opening game. So it’s not like they are avoiding Hockey East.

Maine lists their games @ Boston College as November 8 & 9 (Fri/Sat), but Boston College lists them as November 8 & 10 (Fri/Sun).

Boston College definitely hosts a couple of Sunday afternoon games per season, but Fri/Sat seems move believable in this case because of the Maine travel. Maine shows both games as 7pm, but Boston College doesn't list a start time for either game, so a date typo is definitely possible. Boston College posted their schedule more recently, however, for whatever that's worth.

Schedules outstanding:

B1G Conference Schedule
Michigan State Non-conference
Cornell Non-conference (coming on 10/2)
Dartmouth Non-conference
Yale Non-conference
Merrimack
Long Island
Stonehill
