2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

Awesome link, I had not seen it. Hopefully, PSU can get their first win in the tourney. I liked to hear the goal going in was three goals. The d often gets overlooked and limiting Mercyhurst to 13 shots is part of that winning formula. Desa only gave up 1 and was at 92.8 save percentage. Janecke equals Tkachuk!

I wouldn't mind seeing a Penn State - Ohio State game.

It seems to be purposeful that PSU is in this bracket! If Penn State is lucky enough to get by St Lawrence, OSU would be a tall task. PSU has knocked off Minnesota, Wisconsin, Cornell and UMD in recent years, but not OSU.

St Lawrence is 2-1-1 against Penn State in their last four. Gosling and Batherson are gone from this year's team. It should be a good game. Abby Hustler needs to get some extra attention.

Well, this one got out of hand in a hurry. St. Lawrence is up 3-0 after the first period. Both teams came out 100 MPH but not doing much offensively for most of the period, and then St. Lawrence just started scoring.

Naturally, my connection to the stream went into crap mode after the first period, so I missed the rest - maybe that was my computer showing some mercy. Looking at the live stats isn't a reliable way to gauge a game, but Penn State outshot St. Lawrence and had one fewer penalties, so what went wrong?

SLU is one of the toughest teams in the ECAC to play when down. They work hard & every shift is a battle. Was hoping PSU could mount a comeback but was not to be. Congratulations to PSU on a great season

If Penn Stare advsnced

First St.Lawrenc goal Penn State got trapped in their end and got gassed unable to change or break St.Lawrence's cycle. Second goal was a bad turnover right in front of the net. Third goal was on a PP goal on a hooking call that was a bad call and supposedly happened right in front of me and I didn't see a hook. The calls were very lopsided as I could see a number of calls that could have been made against St.Lawrence but weren't. I was shocked they eventually gave Penn State a 5 on 3 PP but unfortunately for Penn State you couldn't fully capitalize on it and tie the game.

One of the officials for the game was a woman named Katie Guay. She's worked at least a couple of NCAA national championship games, as well as in the Olympics, as well as a couple NHL development events, etc etc etc. She's pretty much as good as it gets.

Three years of close, but no cigar. Against Quinnipiac, PSU was up 2-1 with six minutes left. Against SLU last year, scoreless heading into OT. Last night, PSU uncharacteristically got down 3-0 early. It is a painful loss, but easier to take mentally since there is no woulda coulda shoulda when you get down like that. PSU gets Vaslet back next year so the hopium continues.
