Minnesota was definitely the better team in the first period, but I thought Wisconsin got better (mostly) as the period went along. I have to leave for beer league in a few minutes, so unfortunately I won't be able to watch any more of the game. I'm sorry everyone will have to miss out on more of my highbrow commentary ; ) My expectation is that this lead will hold and Minnesota will win, but this is certainly a much more competitive matchup than the first game and I hope I'm wrong about the end result. On, Wisconsin!

It’s extremely fortunate Gophers got out of that period without giving up a goal. Our streak of great play stretching over the previous three games ended with a thud.
